Weekly Notes - 30th November 2015

Lotto:
Oola Weekly Lotto, 23 Nov 2015. Jackpot 10,000 Numbers drawn 2. 8. 22. 24.  There was no winner.  Jackpot was not won.

Results:
U21 Championship – Oola V Na Piarsaigh, Na Piarsaigh gave a walkover.
This leaves Oola top of the table and through to county quarter final after playing two games over the previous weekend.
On Friday 20th November:        Oola 2 – 9 to Dromcollogher Broadford 0-7
On Sunday 22nd November:        Oola 1-10 to Ballybrown 1-7


Schools:
On November 23rd, East Limerick boys played South Limerick in the Sarsfield Cup. The match was played in very wet conditions under lights in the Gaelic Grounds. East Limerick went in at half time drawing with favorites South Limerick with a score line of 1.0 to 0.3 but South Limerick rallied in the second half and found their form with a final score line of 1.05 to 1.01. The East Limerick side done themselves and their schools proud in reaching the final. Well done to our own Colin O Grady of Oola National School along with Adam English Capt, Kevin Maher, Thomas Lynch Jack O'Dwyer and Luke Heuston of Doon CBS. It was a great achievement on getting to the final.


Santa:
Oola GAA and Oola Community Centre have arranged for Santa to visit Oola Community Centre on Sunday December the 13th from 3pm -6pm.  There will be a photo event, face painting, Christmas disco and much more.  All kids are invited to come along. Price is 5euro per child.


Race Night:
Oola GAA will hold a Race night in Hogan’s Bar on Sunday 27th of December.  All support is greatly appreciated. Horses can be purchased from any committee member.
